Highlights Enzymes IV 1.Chemicals, such as DIPF and iodoacetate, covalently (and irreversibly) bind to the side chains of specific amino acids (serine and cysteine, respectively) and if these side chains are essential for the catalytic action of the enzyme, the enzyme will not catalyze reactions after being treated with these chemicals. 2. Penicillin is a substance that resembles the substrate of an enzyme in bacteria that helps make the bacterial cell wall. When it binds to the enzyme, it inactivates the enzyme by covalently bonding to the active site, thus destroying the enzyme (and killing the bacterium containing it). An inhibitor of this type is known as a suicide inhibitor. Highlights Catalytic Mechanisms 1. Proteases catalyze the hydrolysis of peptide bonds in polypeptides. They are usually fairly specific for certain amino acids and cut at or near those amino acids. 2. Chymotrypsin is a protease whose activity has been closely studied. Conveniently, the activity of chymotrypsin can be studied using an artificial substrate which, when cleaved by the enzyme, releases a yellow product. 3. How to Cook My Holiday Turkey

The Christmas season is near, and I want my food to be prepared Turkey holiday. Now they can learn there are actually many sources where I am on the steps, how to cook a bird table for the entire holiday.

Somewhere in North America, Turkey is usually served in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner, and even on Christmas Eve. Prepare like a big bird can be scary. Not only because it is physically difficult, but there is also a very strong emotional weight that is placed on them. Ishould know how to cook my holiday in Turkey, so our dinner will be completed and enjoyable holiday. Therefore, there are tips on how to cook a turkey perfectly, follow signs for the holidays.

Here are some steps that I like my cooking holiday Turkey collected: Step 1: Gather all supplies. The cuisine is simple as long as the right ingredients, equipment and materials are available. Book a turkey for a week before cooking, so you do not, someone in the last battle plan turkeypan at the store. All you need is a large V rack (a wire, V-shaped rack in a roasting pan that fits), a large roasting pan, meat thermometer, aluminum foil, paper towels, pastry brush, salt, water, an onion, four sticks of celery, three carrots, fresh thyme, a turkey, a cup of chicken broth (optional), and four sticks of butter.

Step 2: Brine Turkey. Salting is the best way to get a fabulously delicious turkey. Salting is the important thing, because the way it is to the liking of somewhat to cook. Combine all ingredients in brine. If you have a kosher turkey, or even books in Turkey, there is no need for salt in brine and no more, but you will need: A non-reactive (plastic, stainless steel or glass) container of adequate size for Turkey and Water, two gallons of cold water and two cups of table salt.

2 Remove all the organs within Turkey. ButIf you plan to use or recycle any other court, put it aside and if not, then you can throw away.

7 Place the container in the refrigerator for about 6 hours.

8 Turkey should be removed from the container.

9 Pour the water into the container untilDrain.

Turkey 10 clean in cold water for a few quiet minutes.

11 Turkey should be dry with paper towels.

Step 3: Cook the turkey. Once the fact that Turkey salts, then its time to roast in the oven.

Step 4: Cut the Turkey, and you can make the juice and then you can serve!
